“Inspire Inclusion” International Women’s Day celebration at Aitken Spence Printing.
Today, Aitken Spence Printing proudly joins the global community in commemorating International Women’s Day under the theme of “Inspire Inclusion”. Our CEO, Mr. Deshantha Silva, delivered a poignant speech acknowledging the immense value that women bring to our organization and the Aitken Spence Group as a whole. Mr. Deshantha Silva highlighted the indispensable role of women in driving innovation, fostering creativity, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
As part of our celebration, special tokens of appreciation were distributed among the women employees. These tokens serve as a symbol of our gratitude for their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to excellence. We recognize the importance of creating an inclusive workplace where everyone, regardless of gender, feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
In line with the Women’s Day celebration, a special awareness session on “Work-life balance focusing on Art & Woman” was organized to highlight the intersection of creativity and female empowerment. Spearheaded by Doctor Asela Wijesundara, the program aimed to illuminate the importance of balancing professional pursuits with personal passions, particularly through the lens of artistry. By delving into the unique challenges women face in juggling multiple roles, attendees gained valuable insights and practical strategies to navigate their careers and artistic endeavors while nurturing their overall well-being. Dr. Wijesundara’s expertise and guidance facilitated an engaging dialogue, fostering a supportive environment for women to thrive both personally and professionally.
